On Sunday May 4 at 9:00AM we will meet at the synagogue to do some mulching and other landscaping and cleanup work.
On February 20, the Sunday before Tu B’Sh’vat (sometimes called the Birthday of the Trees), over 55 Shomrei Torah members of all ages came together with smiles, enjoyed the outdoors and sunshine together, chatted in small teams, shared great snacks and hot coffee, and we cleaned weeds from the base of all our new trees and shrubs throughout our 6.25 acres. Another 15 members brought food and drinks. The views were glorious from our site that morning. On cue, the winter fog lifted as we began at 9 am, the sun shone all morning, and the clouds rolled back in as we finished about noon.
