All women of CST are invited to a special brunch to welcome new members and to celebrate the New Year. In addition to delicious food, mimosas and lively music this is an opportunity to connect with old friends, meet new people and create community. Musical selections will celebrate Rosh Hashanah and honor the traditions of Jewish women from their Old World roots to the present. The performers, Yiddish folksinger Gale Kissin, guitarist Suzanne Shanbaum and percussionist Rhonda Findling, were well received at our annual Yom Hashoah commemoration in April.
Our gathering will wrap-up at approximately 12:30. Cost is $12 in advance or $15 at the door.
If you did not receive an Evite, please contact Paula Duran / 766-8338. We will be able to accommodate only a limited number of people at the door, so please let us know if you are planning to attend. We look forward to having you join us!

Just in time for your Holiday shopping… More than fifteen CST Artists and Crafters will be
displaying and selling their art and wares at this special fair. Join us for a day that will feature
pottery, purses, collages, oil and watercolor paintings, handmade tallitot, unique jewelry, needlework,
photography and more created by the talented and diverse women artists of Shomrei Torah. Women
to Women is planning a warm community atmosphere with noshes, music, and demonstrations
by several of our artists. Something for everyone.
Women-to-Women ensures that Shomrei Torah women of all ages find activities that contribute to the community. These activities include quarterly women’s gatherings, lectures by Jewish women about Jewish topics, cooking groups, book groups, and walking groups. In fact, if you are a woman at CST and wish to involve other women in your favorite pastime, we encourage you to contact us with your ideas. Do some of these activities sound tempting? For more information about our current activities or to volunteer to help on our steering committee, please email Jan Gilman
