The Mama-logues: A comedy about motherhood
Forget brunch! What Mom’s really want for Mother’s Day is wine, chocolate and laughter!
After two successful years in Seattle, CST member Laurie Levy is excited to bring The Mama-logues: A comedy about motherhood, to Santa Rosa! The show features local talent from CST vocally interpreting excerpts from books and writings exploring the wild world of parenting. From redirecting a child with autism about to make a big social mistake at Hanukkah to Dr. Seuss’ Oh the Places You’ll Go to Moon Unit Zappa’s raunchy treatise on bringing sexy back after having a baby, the selections are sure to touch your heart and tickle your funny bone. This show is for anyone who is a mother, has a mother, or knows a mother. SO bring your friends for wine, dessert and fun! String language and content so over 13 recommended.
“The Mama-logues is a hilarious showcase of writers – some nationally recognized, some local and obscure – who have captured the glories and challenges of raising children in ways readers and listeners can relate to. – Seattle’s Child
